My Message of Hope I recieved today.

If you've been standing in faith for the promises of God, I want you to know today that you time is coming! The dreams and desires in your heart, the things you want to accomplish, the situations you want to see changed will happen. Don't give up just because it has taken a long time, or just because you've tried and failed.

I encouage you today - Get your fire back! Don't be complacent about pursuing what God has placed in your heart. It may be taking a long time, but God is a faithful God. No matter how long it has been, no matter how impossible it looks, if you'll stay in faith, your time is coming. Every dream that's in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God will not only put it there, but he has every intention of bringing it to pass.

Declare today "My time is coming"... God is working behind the scenes on my behalf... I will fullfill my destiny.. I will fullfill the plan god has for my life! " As you declare, expect, and wait for the appointed time, your faith will grow. Your hope will grow. and you will step into your destiny God has in store for you!

New Ornaments

Every year since we started our Adoption we buy Nicole a Ornament from the Hallmark Store. Well this year she got 2, a snowman and one called Visions of Sugarplums. At this rate she will have a tree full by the time she gets home.

Think before you speak

Since we started our adoption , I have been approached by two different people that said they knew women that were pregnant and they thought that they were wanting to give their babies up for adoption and would I be interested. So when I hear the word " Thought" they lost my interest all together. I myself would never go up to someone and give them some kind of false hope, that they might have a chance of getting a child. Now if they would have said I know someone that is pregnant and wants to give her child up for adoption and she would like to know if you would be interested, That would be a different story altogether. I do not know if either of these people think that we are that desperate that we will take any offer or that they do not like that we are adopting from China. I know we started on the journey to china and as long as god is willing we will finish this journey in china. And as for the long wait, we are doing fine with it.

Spring has arrived

On monday it was 87 degrees here, unheard of in ohio in april. But by friday we were back to reality , we had snow flakes flying. I guess thats as exciting as it gets here. Nothing much going on with us. just sitting and waiting for our Log in date to get closer. I know alot of families are going the special needs route, so maybe it will speed things along for us. I have thought alot about going SN but right at this point in time we do not have the money to have things move that quickly. Right now we are trying to catch up from my husband being out of work for 7 months with no pay. We also decided that we needed to go the I-800 route , so we are not paying for everything that comes with renewing your finger prints with immagation every 18 months. So we need everyone to say alittle prayer for our family, that we will be able to stay on track with our adoption.

Another miles stone

It was 3 years ago today the we were logged into the CCAA. Even though it has been a long wait I am thanking God that the wait is longer than we expected. With the economy and a few things that has happened in our lives , we are greatful it is longer. We are slowly getting everything back on track.. Now we wait to see each month to see how many days the CCAA will cover, its like playing the lottery. Right now they are only up to 4/3/06 and the number we are waiting for is 1/22/07. So you would say we are in a 3 year long holding pattern, and we are patient and waiting our turn.

Three Years ago

It was 3 years ago Today That our Dossier Left for China. Who would have thought that 3 years later we would be still waiting with no end in sight. I am just hoping that now that the CCAA is finally done with March 2006 , That things will speed up.

Not much going on..

Can you believe that it is November already? Where has the year gone? We only have about 7 more weeks till Christmas, and I am not ready for that.. This past weekend I passed out Halloween Candy in 3 differant places, I just love to see the kids all dressed up. This was the first year my Nephew Landon went Trick or Treating..
