I received this forever family ornament and stuffed Panda. It was from another adoptive family Patty and Terry from New York. Thank You so Much . I love Them.

Anniversary Date

Today has been 1 year since our Dossier left for china. Hopefully next year by this time we will be alot closer to bringing Nicole home.

November Secret Buddy Exchange

The secret buddy exchange theme from the month of November was "Bundle Up". My Secret Buddy made Nicole a beautiful Blanket. This will keep Nicole warm on those cold Ohio winter nights.

Today is the 9 month anniversary of being logged into the CCAA.. 9 months down a million more to go....

CHI's First time parent Group

I am a member of Children's Hope first time Parent Group. Each month they have a Cyber shower gift exchange. I jumped in on it for the month of October , The theme was Halloween.

That just happens to be my favorite time of year. Nicole recieved a halloween sleeper, Pumpkin bag and a stuffed ghost. I would like to thank Michele and Frank Anzaldi for the wonderful gifts.

October's Secret Buddy Gift

The theme for October's Secret Buddy Exchange was Fall Festivals. My Secret Buddy sent my husaband and I Mooncakes and Chop sticks. and she sent Nicole Rice Bowls and spoons.

September's Secret Buddy Gift

The theme for september was Reading is Fun. My favorite Book I recieved was 10 little ladybugs, plus my Secret Buddy sent me a ladybug necklace.

New Dog

Last month we got a new dog . Her name is Sadie. We rescued her from a Amish Family, they did not want her anymore and was going to shoot her. Are worries at first was if Sadie and our Cat Kissy would get along, Well I am happy to say things are going well and they have there moments just like any sister would have .

Logged in for 7 months

We hve been logged in now for 7 months. We recently recieved an e-mail from Children's Hope saying that now they re telling family the wait from LID to Referral is 24 months. But they are saying that by the end of 08 the wait could increase even more. We are patiently waiting right now just to see if we make it through reveiw room 1.

Nicole's Journey home to us

This Blog was created so we could inform family and friends of our adoption progress and things that go on in our everyday life during our long wait. We will also be starting a fundraiser soon , to help us with the remaining cost of our adoption. We are holding off on the fundraiser until we make through review room 1 . So this mite be awhile.
